MS Final Exams (8th Grade) - Period 1 and Make-up Exams

Students only need to attend school on May 24 if they have a first period or make-up exam.  Students should be picked up immediately after the 10:20am end time (1st period exam), or make arrangements with their child's teacher if they are making up and exam.

MAY 21-24 FINAL WEEK INFORMATION FOR 8TH GRADE STUDENTS:

1. Dennis uniforms are required each day, including Thursday.

2. Students are required to turn in any class-issued texts prior to taking their exam. Parents will be contacted prior to a student being permitted to take the exam to secure payment or to make arrangements to bring in the text.  

3. Studentsare not required to be in school if they do not have an exam during the period.

4. Students dropped off in the morning will be required to study quietly in the Varsity Gym Lobby if they do not have an exam.

5. Students may be picked up after a first period exam if they do not have a second period exam on a given day. All 8th grade students are asked to be picked up after the last exam of the day (between 12:50 PM - 1:15 PM).

6. Students waiting for an older sibling to finish the late exam will be permitted to study quietly in the Varsity Gym Lobby during this time.

7. Students are NOT to be dismissed early from their exam. Students must remain with their exam teacher throughout the duration of the exam time.

8. Please note that students will be practicing for 8th Grade Recognition on Monday, May 14 and Friday, May 18 during their Engage periods.  We will practice at CCS for the ceremony at Abba's House.
